UD fashion show will be an Avant Garde show based on the themes of Utopia and dystopia under 2 categories. One would be the designer competition for students and the other will be an exhibition section for the fashionbrands. The fashion show is scheduled for May 22nd. We have also hosted a fashion pop up + trial show on the 16th of April. We are creating a hub for independent fashion designers, producers and models to showcase
their works in the disciplines of fashion designing, clothing, merchandising and modelling.The best 2 designers will also be awarded cash prices
UDFF is an initiative by the UD team which brings filmmakers, producers, exhibitors, distributors, festival
curators and film professionals together on a single platform. Screenings will focus films that fall under the theme of Utopia and Dystopia.
The ticketed concerts will be held on May 21st and 28th. The rest of the days will have curated sessions for poets, standup comedians, dancers, and other performers. The concerts will feature various genres including Rock, hip hop, trance, techno, fusion and will feature artists like Avial, Manushyar, Shanka tribe, Street Academics, Jo Marshall and more. The events will commence by 5 in the evening and will go on till 10 at night.
The Kids section is designed to introduce kids to various art and tech fields. The kids’ section will be organized in collaboration with Little Martians, a platform for all youngsters to explore and grow based on the concept of experiential learning. There will be acting workshops,
engineering workshops and storytelling workshops. We are also inviting companies who create interactive kits & toys forthe kids. The events are catergorised into story telling, painting, science experiments, dance etc.
Educational institutions focusing on Art, design, fashion, technology, research and other related fields will be hosting stalls in the educational area. This will give students an opportunity to talk to the institutions and universities to futher understand the prospectus and
possibilities
